It is made of the same materials (hyaluronic acid) as other dermal fillers, however, BELOTERO BALANCE also includes unique properties which allow for versatility in treating deep wrinkles, such as smile lines around the mouth, or more delicate areas, such as the vertical lines above the lips.

This dermal filler is injected into the skin using a very fine needle, filling in the wrinkles right before your very eyes.  There is little to no downtime associated with each treatment. It can last six months or more.

Cosmetic denervation with Botox is a simple and safe procedure. Using a tiny micro-needle, a very small amount of Botox is injected, precisely, into several locations on the face. Because the needle is so fine, the associated discomfort is minimal, similar to a bug bite.

The procedure is done in a few minutes and you may immediately resume your normal activities. If there is some slight bruising, it may be covered with makeup. Side effects were usually mild to moderate lasting seven days or less and included temporary injection site reactions like redness, pain, firmness, swelling, and bumps.

Before you go: Some doctors recommend that you avoid any medications that can prolong bleeding, such as aspirin and non-steroidal anti-inflammatories (NSAIDS), for at least a week prior to treatment in order to reduce the risk of bruising and bleeding at the injection site.

When you arrive: If this is your first visit, your healthcare professional will ask about your medical history, including any allergies you may have or medications you may take, and will tell you more about wrinkle treatment with Juvéderm Ultra Plus XC™. Juvéderm Ultra Plus XC™ injectable gel does not require an allergy test.

Before the procedure: Although anesthesia is not required, your healthcare professional may use topical or injectable anesthesia to numb the treatment area first.

The procedure: Your healthcare professional will ease the Juvéderm Ultra Plus XC™ injectable gel under your skin to augment, or fill, wrinkles and folds. Following the injection, your healthcare professional may gently massage the treated areas. The procedure is quick and easy. The injection itself usually takes only about 15 minutes.

After the procedure: With Juvéderm Ultra Plus XC™, there is minimal recovery or downtime.

For the first 24 hours following treatment, you should avoid strenuous exercise, excessive sun or heat exposure, and consumption of alcoholic beverages in order to help minimize the risks of temporary redness, swelling, and/or itching at the treatment sites. After the treatment, some temporary injection-related reactions may occur, including redness, pain, firmness, swelling, and bumps. Studies have shown that these are usually mild to moderate in nature and clear up on their own in seven days or less. If you experience swelling at the injection site, you can apply an ice pack for a brief period. Your healthcare professional will tell you when makeup may be applied after your treatment.

Seeing results: You should see an immediate improvement in the treatment areas. Most patients need one treatment to achieve optimal wrinkle smoothing, and the results last up to 6 months or more. However, results may vary and correction is temporary. Supplemental “touch-up” treatments may be required to achieve and maintain optimal results.

If you are using prescription products for lowering eye pressure or have a history of eye pressure problems, only use LATISSE® under close doctor supervision.

LATISSE® may cause eyelid skin darkening which may be reversible, and there is a potential for increased brown iris pigmentation which is likely to be permanent.

There is a potential for hair growth to occur in areas where LATISSE® solution comes in repeated contact with skin surfaces. If you develop or experience any eye problems or have eye surgery, consult your doctor immediately about continued use of LATISSE®.

The most common side effects after using LATISSE® solution are an itching sensation in the eyes and/or eye redness.

A topical numbing cream or injectable anesthesia to numb the treatment area first. Treatment takes approximately 15 to 30 minutes to perform. The treatments involve very small needles and are virtually painless due to the numbing medicine and Dr. Tasha Shamlin or Dr. Kenyatta Shamlin’s gentle injection technique. After the doctor injects the area with Voluma, They then massage the area to ensure that it is properly distributed. Patients may return to normal activities immediately after treatment.
